Some Changes and New Features at TV times Three

While there was no new episode last week, there was still plenty going on here at TV times Three. If you are reading this on the site, you probably have already noticed the site redesign. It's a bit more streamlined and easier to read, but beyond that we also added a few additional features.

  • Easy access to the show notes for each episode – You can now go directly to the show notes for any episode by typing “” into your web browser of choice. For example: Typing “” will take you straight to Episode 125.
  • You can now receive updates via email – Fill out the form in the right column under “Get Updates via eMail” and every time a new episode posts, you will get sent an email notification. Click the “Subscribe” button in the form and a window will popup asking you to type in a text code to prevent spam and notifying you that a confirmation email has been sent to your email address. Please click on the confirmation link in that email to activate your email subscription.
  • Podcast player is now embeddable – Underneath the audio player on every show notes page is an “Embed” link. Click on that link and a box with the embed code will display. Select and copy the code and paste it into your blog/website and that episode will now play from your site.
  • Send us feedback via voice message – If you have a computer, notebook, etc. has a microphone, you can click the “Send Us a Voice Message” tab on the far right of the screen at the website and a window will popup in the middle of the screen. Click the “Record” button and then click the “Allow” button to allow use of the microphone. Record your comment or question and click the “Stop” button when done. You have the option to leave your name and email address and to listen to your message. Once you have done so, click the “Send” button and we will be notified of the message.

Please feel free to test any of these new features out and lets us know what you think about them or the new design in the comments below, via eMail, Facebook, Twitter @TVtimesThree or the aforementioned voice messaging system.
