We started off the episode by discussing some TV related news items: Syfy picking up the first two seasons of the BBC show Merlin, TNT moving up the airdate for the final season of Saving Grace, HBO picking up Big Love for a fifth season, ABC setting the date of the final two hours of Lost, ABC canceling Ugly Betty and giving Happy Town a premiere date, ABC Family announcing that Lincoln Heights won't be back for a fifth season, and CBS having picked How I Met Your Mother for a sixth season, along with two more cycles of Survivor and at least one more of The Amazing Race.
