Any thoughts on Bad Teacher? I originally had extremely low expectations for a movie adaptation like this but it was a pleasant surprise. Loving the lead actress from her previous romantic comedies and of course Dick from Veronica Mars. I hope it gets picked up! It’s a rough life out there for these new comedies right now.
I’m so glad Showtime added Penny Dreadful to their line up. I think it has great possibilities for a scifi horror show on cable. I’m not a Josh Hartnett fan but I can look past it for some awesome character makeup and story lines. Any idea on who is involved? Anyone from other scifi genre shows?
I originally had low expectations of Bad Teacher as well and then watched the show and had those expectations met. Didn’t really much care for the movie on which is was based to begin with. Did really like the cast and hopefully we’ll get a chance to see them in something else soon, as CBS recently announced its cancellation.
Penny Dreadful stars Timothy Dalton, Eva Green, Billie Piper (Doctor Who) and the aforementioned Josh Hartnett. It is created by John Logan who has written for films like Skyfall, Gladiator and others.
