I watched Killjoys for the opposite reasons as Jason and Amrie–which is probably why I didn’t really enjoy it that much. The original ad looked great–I was hoping for fun, interesting missions, but the show seemed to concentrate more on the character drama, and the missions were never as fun or exciting as I had hoped they would get. I couldn’t have cared less about the romantic relationship between Dutch and the brother, and the team dynamic was muddled and confusing–they would be fighting with the brother and it seemed like he left the team and then he would be working with them again–I never understood where they stood. I find the team dynamic on Dark Matter way more fun and interesting. Another thing I really didn’t like about Killjoys was the over-saturated, sun-in-the-camera look of the show.
